Please distribute this information to your networks and spread the word so we can have a big impact and support the Yamhill community!

As you may know, this community forum is modeled on previous forums done in Jackson County and in Linn/Benton County, as a way of beginning to change the cultural expectations in the community regarding pain and opioids. Your own community leaders have asked that we focus on the opiate naïve student athlete as an important place to prevent addiction and persistent pain. There is already a great deal of support and enthusiasm, and with all of your engagement, we can expect this event to be significant and successful! The goal is to provide the Yamhill community with ideas and resources to help young people avoid dangerous opiate use and to better understand pain as they continue their support and become active and healthy adults.

What we need from you:

  • Please spread the word wide and far! We want to pack the rafters to get as much engagement as possible on this critical topic. Please share with your networks and encourage folks to register early.
  • Download and distribute the flyer.
  • If you would like a presence at this event for your organization, please contact Jill Dale dalej@co.yamhill.or.us or call 503/474-4933 about arranging to have a table display.
